Hey friends!
I am ALWAYS on the hunt for new ways to make money. Nothing excites me like finding a way to earn extra cash while sitting on my couch watching tv. I am a mom of teens, and let me tell you…they are expensive lol. No, honestly, they don’t ask for much. But when they do, it is for electronics, or their online games (yep, I have two gamers), and those types of things add up. So finding ways to earn extra money online makes it easier for me to say yes for things when they ask.
That is not all I do this side gig stuff for. In fact, I have used what I earn on receipt-scanning apps and online side gigs for everything from groceries, gift cards for dinners out, gas money, and even gift cards for Christmas gifts. Those types of savings truly excite me. And that is why I am sharing it with all of you! It is not the type of thing it have to keep secret or hope no one else gets into because these types of things need all types of participants. They literally use people from all backgrounds.
One of my favorite types of online work is doing virtual or phone interviews. I have used Respondent for several years and have really enjoyed it, as they have research in so many areas. It does not get boring for me. And if you have ADHD like I do, then you know how important it is to be doing something that does not make you want to run away from boredom lol. I will do another post on Respondent.
Today my topic is UserInterviews. What kind of company is this, you ask? UserInterviews is a platform that connects researchers and companies with people who want to participate in paid research studies. It’s like a job board for people who want to share their opinions on products, services, or ideas through things like surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
Here is the description straight from the source:

I had not used this one until recently, because I thought it was one I was already apart of, as it shares a likeness in its name to UserCrowd. But I was reading through a post on a Reddit board and realized they are actually different companies. 🤦♀️ I went to the site, signed up and started filling out short pre-screeners. Super easy! Like Respondent, it covers many areas…from taking selfies in different lighting to discussing how your bank app works for you. These are things you are doing anyway. Why not get paid for it, right?
So, what next?
- Sign up and build a profile – You register and provide details about yourself, like age, interests, and profession, to help match you with relevant studies.
- Apply for studies – You browse the available studies that fit your profile and apply to the ones you’re interested in.
- Get paid for your feedback – If selected, you’ll participate in a study (could be a 1-on-1 interview, an online survey, or a group discussion). Afterward, you get paid, usually through cash or gift cards.
In a few months, I will come back and give a more thorough review. I want to use it for awhile before I tell you if it will be one of the sites I use on a regular basis. Sometimes, after trying a new site, I realize it is not worth my efforts. Maybe it does not pay as well or it is not giving me enough work. From what I have seen from other people, it seems promising. There are people making over $100 a month with it and for me, that makes it worth my time. Stay tuned, friends!! And as always, KEEP GRINDING!
XOXO,
Cheryl
